Tree Service in Riverview, FL

Newer subdivisions with young trees planted too close to the house, plus older riverfront oaks.

Riverview has grown faster than almost anywhere else in Hillsborough County, and the tree work here splits neatly into two kinds.

In the newer subdivisions south of Gibsonton Drive, it is young trees planted by builders in the wrong spot: live oaks eight feet off a foundation, palms under a soffit. Along the Alafia River and in the older sections, it is genuinely large mature trees on properties that have had them for decades.

Builder trees in the wrong place

Production builders plant to a landscape plan, not to where a tree will be in twenty years. We are regularly asked to deal with a live oak that was set eight or ten feet from a slab and is now lifting a driveway, or a queen palm dropping fronds onto a lanai screen every month. Moving a young tree is often cheaper than dealing with it later, and we will say so if that is the better call.

Along the Alafia

The older riverfront properties carry big live oaks, cabbage palms and the occasional cypress, on ground that stays soft. Access is usually the hard part rather than the tree itself, and on some of those lots the honest answer is a longer rigging job rather than driving equipment down to the water.

Storm exposure

The Riverview and Gibsonton corridor takes a beating in the bands that come up off the bay, and low-lying sections along the river flood. We run emergency response through Riverview around the clock during storm season, and we do not change our rates when one comes through.

Tree service in Riverview: common questions

Can you get equipment into a narrow side yard?
Usually. Our stump grinder fits a standard 36-inch gate and we rig from outside when a bucket cannot get in. Send a photo of the access and we can tell you before we drive out.
Do you handle whole-yard clearing on new lots?
Yes, including selective clearing where you want to keep specific trees. That gets quoted on site.
