After a storm, Tampa fills up with out-of-state trucks charging whatever the moment will bear. We live here. Our rates do not change because a hurricane came through, and our customers from the last one are the reason we are busy during this one.
We clear trees off roofs and vehicles, open blocked driveways so you can get out, and haul the debris away rather than leaving it piled at the curb for a month.
What the job includes
- 24/7 emergency response for hazardous trees
- Trees lifted off roofs, cars, fences and pool cages
- Driveway and access clearing first, so you are not trapped
- Hanging widow-makers taken out of damaged canopies
- Full debris haul-away, not just cut-and-leave
- Documentation and photos for your insurance claim
What to do before we get there
Stay away from anything touching a wire and assume every downed line is live. Photograph the damage from a safe distance before anything is moved, because your insurer will want it. If a tree is on the roof, keep everyone out of the rooms underneath. Then call us. We triage by hazard, not by who called first.
Insurance claims
Most policies here cover removing a tree that has struck an insured structure, and many do not cover a tree that simply fell in the yard. We photograph the work, itemize the invoice the way adjusters expect, and are happy to talk to yours. We are not a public adjuster and we will not tell you what your policy covers. Your carrier decides that.
On price-gouging
Florida law prohibits unconscionable pricing on essential services during a declared state of emergency, and tree work counts. Beyond the law, it is a bad way to treat neighbors. Our storm rates are our normal rates. If someone quotes you triple, that is worth reporting to the Attorney General's price-gouging hotline.
